Female: We’re really excited to have David come here it’s absolutely amazing to having step out of the television and appear in our home.
Ted: David I presume.
Ted: Now I just wanted to show you that I have a little bit of style.
David: Oh my gosh is that real?
Ted: Well it’s a secret society.
Ted: Oh please come on in.
David: Oh it’s air-conditioned.
Female: Yes come on in.
David: The house is fantastic. Great size bedroom.
Female: This is our guest room.
David: What are you looking to do with it.
Ted: My impression of the room is that it’s a Hodge podge, slap dish, it’s not coherent.
David: You have a little French country over there and you have something more formal over here and then something different there, it’s all different.
Female: The only thing that we really want to try to keep is keep the couch in the room and keep the TV.
David: I wouldn’t move the bed over there. We’ll make the biggest impact into your room and that’s the first thing you’re going to see. What kind of style we’re looking for this space.
Ted: That feeling of the Yale club.
Ted: You know deep leathers, deep mahogany.
Female: Manhattan in the 20s, 30s but not…
David: I know exactly where you want to go. It’s great because in our line of Color Splash we don’t get a lot of true, traditional rooms and so it’s a real honor it’s going to be a lot of fun to do this.
Female: I’m so excited.
David: Thank you for having me in your house.
Female: Thank you.
David: Do you want a hug? Oh you do.
Ted what is up your room is done, are you ready to see it. Alright, alright let’s see that.
Ted: David just called and said the room is ready and we’ve been imagining all sorts of things can’t wait to see it.
David: Alright look at your new guest room.
Female: Oh my gosh. I can’t believe I just said oh my gosh.
The room blew me away, the colors, the wood, the leather.
David: We use some very simple lines to the very masculine the color pallete is really fairly easy it’s just blue, chocolate brown is, spashes of white. A little green.
Female: The two different blues are stunning together.
David: By combining the colors like that you keep it in the same pallet just creates a lot of interest.
Female: The bedding is just wonderful it’s like men’s pajamas I love it.
David: By combining you know a very rich texture with very simple prints gives it that masculine elegance that we wanted to go for. The bed that you guys picked…
Female: The bed is stunning.
David: The top bed, simple lines goes well with the couch because you love modern furniture.
Female: That is stunning that is absolutely stunning.
David: Than you.
Ted: And look what you did with the pictures of my father and my mother look over here.
David: Yeah we really wanted to personalize it for you and your family and look at all the molding into that it gives the room some architecture, it gives the room some class and some elegance.
Female: Did you do these 2 paintings?
David: I did do those two paintings.
Female: Oh they are wonderful, than you so much.
David: No, my pleasure. I did the trophy one because your inspiration for the room was that’s over here and the pipe just symbolized that masculine kind of clubhouse cigar smoking, high smoking room.
Ted: I think I feel so loved in a way so flattered with you’re remember all this stuff. We really mean it.
David: Oh I appreciate that.
Ted: It reminds me of my best memories in bars.
David: We haven’t looked over here at these entertainment/library.
Female: Can I open these?
David: Please do?
Female: Look at this drawers? It almost looks like a built in. It all goes together so beautifully.
David: I have a feeling that you’re going to spend a lot more time here than your guest.
