Windows Shutdown Shortcut
Welcome to Tekzilla Daily. I’m Patrick Norton. What a Windows more annoying trait is you need way too many clicks to do anything and everything even for things like restarting or shutting down.
Thankfully, Alex Via of Sacramento sent us some tip to help speed up that very process. Alex says, “First right click your desktop, select new, and click shortcut, then type shut down –s then, name it something like shut down and you’re all set.
Now click that whenever you want to shut down your computer instead of digging through the start menu. This works in all versions of Windows”. Thanks Alex and if your keyboard shortcut fan, press ALT F4 when you don’t have an application in focus and you’ll get the shut down dialogue.
