BY PAULA HUNT ANCHOR CANDICE AVILES It’s been cold and snowy in Wiltshire, England, so what better excuse is there to . . . get naked? That’s what Leanne Myers thought when she set up a Facebook page called “Wiltshire, Let’s Get Naked in the Snow” accompanied by photograph of she and a friend playing guitars in their underwear. Now, “Wiltshire, Let’s Get Naked in the Snow” has over 14,000 Facebook “likes,” and photographs from people around the world posing in lots of snow, but not much else. Myers says she posted her cheeky photo to cheer up fellow co-workers – home health care aids who have had to deal with a lot of bad weather to do their jobs this winter. The  BBC  asked her about her photo. “It was freezing, absolutely freezing, a bit of a giggle and children were laughing, my eldest daughter took the picture. It was good fun.” The popularity of the site has surprised just about everyone. The " Daily Mail " reports that: “Within 24 hours the page had gone viral, and hundreds of people had also shared photos of ever-more inventive ways of obscuring their dignity - using snowmen, bottles, scarves and even a frying pan." As “ This is Bath ” reports, Myers has not let all of this exposure go to waste. She has established a charity that has so far raised more than  $5,000 for a local hospital. It says: “The week-long shenanigans have left a lasting legacy in the county – with thousands of pounds being raised for Salisbury Hospital’s Stars Appeal for better neo-natal care for premature babies.” Myers’ charity will be making a “Naked in the Snow” calendar – no word yet on who will be Mr. January.
