Why Black Clothing Is Not for Every Woman
Hi, it is Carol Tuttle creator of Dressing your Truth. You know one of the most universal teachings in the fashion industry and the fashion world is black looks great on every woman. You’ve been taught that black is a neutral color and I am here to tell you that that is one of the biggest lies that you’ve bought into.
It does not look great on everyone. In fact it doesn’t look great on most women and I’m going to use myself as an example. It has to do with the movement of you. I am a very textured, very angular, and I have a lot of movement in my face. I move through life very swiftly with a lot of determination and black is a very still, very stark, very constant expression. Quite the opposite of who I am, so I am going to show you and I have to tell you 75% of my wardrobe used to be black.
And you may not believe this but I now have nothing in black, I own no black, anything, shoes and there is no black in my existence. I gave it all up, so just notice me now. I am going to put out this black jacket looking at the back side here right up to my face. You can see for yourself what this does to my face. I can’t wear black anymore, it is gone. I am happy about it and my dressing retreat program is going to revolutionize not only in the fashion industry but your world and free you up from the lies and the myths that are keeping you from expressing your true beauty.
So watch out, we are coming and it is going to be amazing.
