Katherine Power: Hello everyone! You are watching Who What Wear TV, I am Katherine Power.
Hillary Kerr: And I am Hillary Kerr. Today we are going to talk about one of the best new trends in handbags and how to wear it. But first, let's take a look at a couple of our favorite celebrities and see how they are wearing the handbags of the season.
Female Speaker: Right now celebs are going crazy for bags with studs and other tough hardware accents. Our former model of the moment Agyness Deyn was spotted outside the Marc Jacob Spring 09 show with a studded across body bag. Mischa Barton also loves these detailed handbags. She has been seen around town with the long strap bag embellished with fringe and studs.
Hillary Kerr: When shopping for a new handbag, don't forget to make sure that the contents of your current purse will fit into your new one, especially when it comes to evening bags. One thing that helps is to carry all of your essentials in a Ziploc bag, that way you can drop it in and out and test new possible purchases.
Katherine Power: The two shapes to invest in this season are a long large shoulder strap bag and then a smaller more structured clutch. If you are working all day and you don't have time to go home and change, just throw your clutch and your day bag and switch it before it's time to go out.
Hillary Kerr: This bag by Sirrah hits just below the hip which is a length that we love, plus it's big enough that Danny can carry everything from her laptop to her scarf inside.
Katherine Power: Studded and embellished bags look great over a neutral outfit like what she has on here. And since we wanted the bag to be statement piece, we kept all other hardware really minimal. For the night time version of this look we added a gray motorcycle jacket from Simone by Katie Nehra which goes perfectly with the studded clutch we found at Jimmy Choo. The clutch maybe small, but it still fits your driver license and credit card plus lip gloss key and a cell phone which is all you need for a great night out. We hope you love this season's studded handbags as much as we did.
Hillary Kerr: Until next time, thanks for watching Who What Wear TV.
