Katherine Power: Hello Everyone! Welcome to WhoWhatWear TV.
Hillary Kerr: We are your hosts, I am Hillary Kerr.
Katherine Power: And I am Katherine Power.
Hillary Kerr: Today we're going to talk about and breakdown celebrity street style.
Katherine Power: We're going to show you how some of your favorite celebrities look so good on their days off, but first, let's take a look at a couple of great outfits as seem through the eyes of the paparazzi.
Female Speaker: One of our favorite examples of celebrity street style comes from supermodel Kate Moss. Seen here in London, she elevated her classic gray t-shirt dress by adding an exotic print belt and an of-the-moment handbag.
We also love the effortlessly undone look Kate Bosworth wore while running errands in New York. She added interest to her outfit with a fantastic print scarf, but still kept things casual with a classic pair of high top lace-ups.
Katherine Power: Celebrity street style is usually the mix of flattering basics with of-the-moment accessories. That said, it's important to throw in at least one trendy bag, shoe, or piece of jewelry into your wardrobe each season.
One thing that working with a stylist will teach a celebrity, it's dressing for their specific body type. No matter how trendy something is, if it's not meant for your weight or height, it won't look right. That's why you should look for inspiration from the famous faces that share your physique.
One of the most common things you will see in celebrity street style is the mixture of trendy accessories with classic basics, and that's what we did here. We gave her these skinny Chip and Pepper Jeans, a white tank top, and a little gray vest.
Hillary Kerr: You also don't want to look like you are trying too hard when you are putting together a casual outfit like this. The outfit should look a little undone and a little offbeat, which is why we deliberately left her shirt untucked and mismatched her accessories.
Katherine Power: Our next look is even more casual. We gave her a denim skirt and a pair of sneakers, and because casual doesn't necessarily mean sloppy, we added this colorful scarf just to pull the outfit together a little bit.
Hillary Kerr: For jewelry, we added a bunch of delicate bracelets stacked on one wrist, and finished the look with a cool cross body bag.
Katherine Power: Hopefully what you have seen today will help you enhance your own street style.
Hillary Kerr: As always, thanks for watching WhoWhatWear TV.
