ABC explains. “Ever wonder what goes through Vice President Joe Biden’s head? The White House has just launched an audio series called ‘Being Biden,’ where the vice president will share his story of a photograph in which he appears.” Yes, the one and only Joe Biden un-scripted. Biden has released two audio entries so far, the first welcoming everyone to his new segment and the second focusing on gun control. Here’s a quick snippet. “Hey folks I wanna tell you about this picture you’re looking at. These are a couple guys in their hunting shirts that I’m serving a meal to.” (Via White House ) This may not exactly be the Joe Biden reality TV show White House petitioners were asking for earlier this year, but it’s a close second. (Via White House ) So why such excitement over more Biden? A writer for TechCrunch explains why the vice president has become an Internet meme. “Biden’s adorable mix of brash honesty and middle-America anecdotes has made him something of a curious icon, as the man second in line to the world’s most powerful position. To his credit, he’s been a great sport with the Internet’s prodding...” The VP claims this series is to “give you a closer look inside the life at the White House and the Vice Presidency” but the Guardian isn’t so sure, saying this feels more like preparation for 2016. “It's the kind of thing you might jump at the chance to participate in, as a politician, if you were in the early stages of plotting another national campaign. You can request to receive an email each time a new entry is added. We've signed up; we're listening. And we bet Hillary is, too.” Biden’s audio series is supposed to release new entries “regularly” but there isn’t an exact date.
