Matt: Hi everybody! Matt & Tamsen from ask YourTango answering your questions.
Tamsen: Alright, today’s question comes from T.L. his love brief: boring as hell. Alright, how do I get my wife to want better sex? He says that sex with his wife is boring. He loves her and wants to be faithful but he is also a man who needs sex.
Matt: Being committed and being in a monogamous relationship can really be tough for a lot of guys even when you're married to somebody like this.
Tamsen: Not you.
Matt: Not me, I’m sorry, I don’t know what I was saying. Its tough so, for one of the partners to get bored or one of the partners don’t want to participate can happen.
Tamsen: Yeah! That’s not unheard of. But you really need to keep the lines of communication open. You can’t get around keeping that in your mind and thinking its going to hurt her by not knowing how you feel. Its going to hurt her worst if she doesn’t know long term.
Matt: Communication is key as you hear everywhere. But honestly, change it up. Do something different, I don’t care if you have to have sex with her out in the yard, in the hallway of your apartment building. Well, just do something different. She could be bored. Maybe, you know, what you were doing isn’t as exciting as it could be, just do it. Don’t worry about what has been going on. Don’t let those things chained in your mind to ordinary and average sex. I don’t care what you have to do. Get a little dirty this coming weekend. Do something different. It’ll turn you on and you know what, it’ll really turn her on too.
Tamsen: Alright, this is the Matt and Tamsen answering your love questions. Be sure to send them our way to yourtango.com.
