What the Average Male Genitalia Size Is
Hey guys, Dr. George from Menshealthreports.com. And I've been spending a bit of time over at Yahoo Answers. Now I’ve noticed that there seems to be a lot of questions like “What is the average male penis size for a ‘Insert your personal description here’?” Since the penis size has always been a bit of a worry for guys. So I thought, perhaps it’s time to share what the current research is, and help remove the myth of what an average male penis size actually is.
Surprisingly, there has been quite a bit of research on the area. I wonder if it’s guarded by worried men. I was able to find a great research paper by the team at the British Journal of Urology who looked at all the studies done in the penis size worldwide since 1942. They are able to find the measurements of more than 10,000 men across the world, and they came to the following conclusions. The average male penis size when erect, when measured from the tip to the base was between 14 and 16 centimeters. The average male penis size when measured around the shaft was between 12 and 13 centimeters.
Interestingly, the study found that there did not seem to be any particular difference in the average male penis size when it comes to the country you are from. There was one study out of South Korea that suggested that men examined there did have a slightly smaller than the average penis but that has suggested that it’s worth measuring more guys to see if this is correct.
For the average guy on the street, it can be reassuring to know that a six-inch penis is actually pretty much normal and not small at all. While this is good to know, let's put it into perspective. The length of a woman’s vagina is only three inches deep when she is not aroused. This stretches to four inches when she is sexually aroused so guess what, even if your penis is below the average size, you are going to be able to, well and truly satisfy your partner.
You don’t need any of the penis enlargement pills, pumps, or other sort of crap that is being sold to guys by playing on their words. Get in there, have fun, and keep in mind that you're probably bigger than what you thought you were when compared to other guys in the world.
I hope this has helped put things into perspective. If you would like to read a non-technical version of the paper I'm talking about, come on over to my website. There’s a link there for a full copy of the paper. See you over at Menshealthreports.com for more information on men’s health issues. Have a great day. This is Doctor George signing out.
