Hi, welcome to mommy maters. I'm Shannon with babyessentials.com here today to talk about how you can save money when you're buying for baby. There are countless ways you can actually save money starting off with coupons and coupon codes on the internet, definitely not to be overlooked. When you find something online, you want to do a comparative search but you might even want to Google and look for a coupon code, free shipping, discounted products awesome! Another great way to save money on baby products of course is to look t your girlfriends. A lot of times their babies are six months older and they’ve outgrown certain toys or clothing and you can bring those things on and give them a home. It's a great way to not only save money in this case but also kind of the eco friendly and give something a second chance at life. Other options to save money for baby would be to look to a consignment store. The only thing you want to be careful about here is of course step on your recalls and you can definitely check with babyessentials.com for all your recall information. The other thing is there are a couple of products that you really just don’t want to buy/use because you're not sure of the history of the product. A couple of things I can think of right of the back, your crib mattress, you really want to buy that new and also your car seats. These are two things that have a certain lifespan and depending on how they were cared for, you know you just don’t want to take the chance. Finally, two other options, there is something called a “toybrary”. It's not in every city but it's a great thing. It works just like a library but they’re toys. You're checking them out. This is awesome because kids don’t necessarily want to play with the same toy all year long. It gives it a new life. It's like bringing something out of your closet. It's also great if you're short on space. That way you're not you know saving things for kids down the road or packing and taking up all your free space. Finally, there are toy clubs. You can join a club and they will actually mail you toys that are developmentally appropriate for your child. And when you're finished, you put them back in the prepackage, prepaid envelope or box and whatever cases, send it off and next month something new will arrive. So these are all great ways to save money on toys and other products for baby. Hope this information was helpful. And if you need any other information, please check with babyessentials.com. Have a great day.
