SHOTLIST:ABC POOL -- AP CLIENTS ONLY1. SOUNDBITE: Gov. Earl Tomblin, D-West Virginia:"The numbers we have today look good and we're finally at a point where the do not use order is being lifted in certain areas. In these specific areas, flushing can begin. We've made a lot of progress, but I ask all West Virginians to continue to be patient as we work to safely restore service to the affected areas."2. SOUNDBITE: Jeff McIntyre, President, West Virginia American Water (partly covered by map showing contamination zone):"Customers in lift zones will need to flush their home plumbing systems. West Virginia American Water is providing flushing guidance via its website, media and call center. Only customers located within the zones that have been lifted should begin flushing. If we have problems with pressure in the system we will not be able to open up additional zones until those pressures are restored. So, you will extend the time of recovery if you flush too early. You will cost yourself money and you will waste your effort because you'll be doing it before the water is safe."3. SOUNDBITE: Jeff McIntyre, President, West Virginia American Water (covered by map showing contamination zone):"As we progress through the zones, the first zones, if I can describe it very briefly, is the area of downtown Charleston east. So, it's bordered by the Kanawha River, the Elk River, moving along to the 35th Street Bridge. That's the first zone. It's not an exact description of boundaries, but we've been pushing out water now into the system that meets the health standard for 48 hours, plus."
