Hi! This is Mike from the substream.com and this is Watch This Instead for the week with 24th of November 2010. Happy Thanksgiving to American friends and happy not Thanksgiving this regular weekend to all of our Canadian friends but we normally do on this little web series is we go see particularly bad new release and review briefly and then recommend something that’s in the similar vein, something that’s forgotten under appreciated that they should watch instead. And I’m not going to do that this weekend and I got reason why in this segment. The reason is this; there is a great lock of serious no jaw caring action movies and that’s for going on for like 25 plus years. There is a point before in his carrier the guy like Sylverter Stallone or guy like Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t tell remain jokes in his movies and there is a point after which he didn’t make it many movies that didn’t have jokes even though with making action movies you can call it the Bruce Willis of the American action hero but for the past couple of decades almost all action movies that had jokes something in them and that’s because movies with jokes action movies make more money. The single dude was normally the target market for an action movie can bring a date or another friend or a group of friends for his mom or somebody to an action movie that also has a bunch of jokes that’s a wild audience. The movie with wild audience is making more money.
They also happen to be much blander because she designs something to appeal that those many people is possible you basically designing vanilla ice cream. And vanilla ice cream is really boring so normally I would say what to watch instead of a movie like Faster which is directed by George Tillman that comes up today Wednesday as far as Dwayne Johnson also known as The Rock, Carla Gugino and Billy Bob Thorton but I’m not going to do that because I really like it. It’s not a perfect movie; it’s not even a great movie. I do have but I think it’s a good movie and because it’s a good, very serious, no joke caring action movie all of the terrible scene that which there are more than of you I’m going to choose to disregard in favor of all of the really good scenes the really super efficient, minimal fights that they have and shoot off instead they have and the lack of jokes and the lack of really comic in the fact that it’s an absolutely straight extremely serious quite violent revenge story of the type that they haven’t been making for the past couple of decades because that’s only really design to appeal to people that like straight super violent and no joke hunting action movies and which I am one and apparently going by the audience who is that the Winzy Matt Knight and appeals with a lot of other guys who like to go to the movies and set by themselves as well so I don’t think it’s going to make very much money but you should go watch it especially if you like that kind of action. The one thing I little say do if you are single guy and you wanted to see an action movie you still have to watch your body. It’s creepy to be sitting in the third row and smell the body of the guy that’s sitting behind you. You have to watch the cloths by the guy’s even if you going the movie by yourself because you are not sitting just by yourself. Even though you invite yourself and other people are in the theater. Movie theaters are public; you’re with people so watch your crutch. So and here is some turkey for thanks giving if you are American or I guess watch this instead this is the man of trick.
