Watch, Pass, or Rent: Love, Burlesque, Tangled, & King
Female: In Watch, Pass or Rent, Jake Gyllenhaall, Christina Aguilera, Zachary Levi and more. I’m sure at least Jake Gyllenhaal Hall gets all of the girls but has to work hard for Anne Hathaway in Love and Other Drugs.
Becky: I don’t know if you heard but Jake and Anne took their clothes off quite a bit in this movie. Luckily they have a lot of onscreen chemistry in the movies, actually a lot finer than you might think. It does get pretty cheesy at the end but I’ll forgive it and say watch.
Female: Christina Aguilera surprises Cher with her talent and goes from waitress to power house senior and dancer in Burlesque.
Lauren: So I couldn’t stop snickering to all through all these movie. There are so many clichés and so much bad dialogue but Christina Alleguera does a really surprisingly good job. Her acting is not bad all. Her musical numbers are really fun. So, I’m going to say this should make a good Rent.
Female: Zachary Levi tries to win over Mandy Moore in Tangle, Disney’s new take on Rapunzel.
Shannon: So it’s refreshing because this Rapunzel is a princess who doesn’t need to be rescued. There are laughs for adults, there are laughs for kids. Overall, just a really cute movie, so for that reason I say watch it.
Female: Colin Firth is King George VI who hires a speech therapist so he can get over a stammer and address his country in the King’s Speech.
Becky: I was totally blown away by this movie. It’s an engaging true story that’s both touching and funny. Colin Firth turns in an amazing performance. I can already hear the Oscar buzz. So, you should definitely watch this one.
