Watch, Pass, or Rent: Despicable Me, The Kids Are All Right, & Predators
Host: In Watch, Pass or Rent, Steve Carell, Julianne Moore and Adrian Brody. Steve Carell voices the wicked Gru who plans to steal the moon in Despicable Me.
Lauren: It has really great humor for kids and adults. Gimmicky fun 3D effect and the mignons are adorable. If Toy Story 3 wasn’t already in theaters, I’d say this would be the anime film of the summer. So I say watch.
Host: Julianne Moore and Annett Benning encounters some uncomfortable yet funny situations when their kids invited their biological dad Mark Ruffalo over and the kids are alright.
Lauren: I love this film. The performances are really, really great but even more so than that, it's supposed to be about this alternative family but it feels really relatable to anybody. I definitely say watch.
Host: Adrian Brody battles aliens who hunt humans in Predators, a sequel to the late 80s and early 90s films Predator and Predator 2.
Shannon: Well, Adrian is totally hot in this movie and very believable as an action star. Plus, the creepy atmosphere left me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I would say if you're an action fan, watch. But if you're not, pass.
