Female: The restaurant Lodos is located in New Milford, New Jersey. It’s known for its great kebabs, fresh fish and Mediterranean salads. Covered with a colorful anterior design, it’s hard to resist.
Bahri Karaaslan: My name is Bahri Karaaslan. I’m the chef and owner of the Lodos Mediterranean Restaurant. We had been running this for more than 2 ½ years. We are serving Turkish and Mediterranean food. In our menu, we do have a variety of kebabs. We also have Mediterranean fish such as Brozini, Berita. Also, we do have the Turkish traditional dishes such as Sultan’s Delight. Also, we’re famous for our salads, Turkey chopped salads.
Sevde Keler: My name is Sevd Keler, I’m the Manager and Owner of the Lodos Restaurant and I have been in the restaurant business since I was a child because my family had a restaurant before in Turkey and I had been working for a long time.
Female: I know a lot about Turkish food and my favorite is Monte.
Male: And what did you have today.
Female: I had Kofte. It was delicious, fabulous. This is a great restaurant. We come here all the time because the kids like it also.
Male 2: It’s good.
Male: What’s the best part?
Male 2: The food.
Sevde Keler: Our customers, most of them are like Americans, almost 95% because they like to try exotic foods and they like to have new experiences and they love Turkish food. When they come, they were like afraid but then after trying the food, they love it. And the always come back.
Male 3: I’d say Shish Kebab with yogurt sauce.
Male: Is what you had today?
Male 3: Yes.
Male: How was it?
Male 3: It’s good. I came here a couple of times. I really like it. It’s good cuisine.
Male 4: I like almost everything. I’m Turkish so I’m used to it. I had a mixed grill today. It was fine. I’ve been here a few times and it’s fun for kids and it’s good food, food that I’m used to.
Sevde Keler: And also, we have a bunch of appetizers. They are all like freshly made and we have like kebabs and we have Turkey’s traditional dishes like ___, stuffed cabbage rolls and we have fresh fish selection on our menu everyday.
