Visit the Aspen Music Festival

Dave “Moose” Bosson: We're at the Aspen music tent with one of the most beautiful
Sunday afternoons and weekends we’ve had in a long time. I've
flip flop back and forth on Pinehurst, North Carolina to here.
And when I'm here, I'm out here at these Aspen Music Festival
events and enjoy it thoroughly. If you want to go inside, that
don’t cost that much to have a seat in a tent. And that’s nice to
do one time and then after that, you just park on the lawn.

John Hatanaka: I want to show my friends that this is free which is amazing
because you can sit down and it’s almost just as good for me to
be out here as supposed in there. I love it.

Sparky Wren: I just enjoy being out in the atmosphere enjoying the music, the
picnic. My daughter always prepares something special for us
on our birthdays. So, it is a special time for us.

Vanessa Wren: I think that everybody usually enjoys a nice bottle of wine but
if you don’t drink whatever your favorite beverage is, it’s
really just about being out here in a beautiful place and
enjoying the music.

Tami Word: I try to pretty much come every Sunday in the summer that
there's music festival because there's only a few weeks of it and
it’s too wonderful to miss.

Julie Lampton: I'm a house manager for the music festival and even on my
days off, I have to be here. Where else would one be?

Dave “Moose” Bosson: It's a great tribute to Aspen and to all the scholarship students
and conductors and instructors from all over the world,
probably one of the finest in the world.

Nancy Simpson: So far, good cheese, good wine, good friends and good music.
What more could you want?

John Hatanaka: This is my third time. I just like coming outside and enjoying
the outside scene. I mean whether it’s raining, I mean you can
duck under here right behind me and if it’s raining and still
really peaceful and just listening to music just kind of unwind
from the day.

Chuck Shenk: It’s a relaxing time, not rushing around hiking and biking and
going out at night. So, it’s a time to sort of just cool it and relax
and have a nice afternoon. It doesn’t really matter so much
whether you're into the music. It’s a part of Aspen life and it’s
history and people come here just for the music. If you don’t
come here to experience it, you're missing out a part of what
makes Aspen, Aspen.

Dave “Moose” Bosson: Anybody who hasn’t experienced this has got to just do it. As a
matter of fact if you know people that haven’t, you go kidnap
them and grab them and take them down here. Put them on a
blanket and tell them to just enjoy. You know, they’ll come
back.
