America’s largest city is located along the coastal region of the Atlantic Ocean, on the Boston, Philadelphia, Washington access. In Europe, New York is equivalent to Manhattan. On the Chessboard Island embraced by two rivers are the huge skyscrapers and office buildings, restaurants, museums, hotels, and sites. The majority of the population lives in the Bronx. Queens, Brooklyn, Stanton Island or the neighboring New Jersey can only come into the city to work. The bridge with its modern lines was finished in 1964 and bears the name of Giovanni da Verrazzano, a Florentine sailor who in 1524 wrote the following to french King Francis I about Manhattan. It has a very favorable location with two outstanding hills and an enormous river with a deep mouth. However, the French who were just waging war didn’t, want to establish a colony in the new world. Among rail made of the stones of the Vereceno Castle in Toscana has been erected at the bottom of the suspension bridge of 8,500 feet in length.
The settlement did not extend beyond the boundaries of Manhattan until 1898. Long since incorporated, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Stanton Island used to be independent small towns.
