In the German region of Moritzburg lies an eloquent Saxon caste. Originally built as a
hunting lodge in the mid-16th century, it is named after its very first owner, Duke Moritz.
The current castle that stands on the Moritzburg ground has been under numerous
seditions, renovations and changes by it s various owners.

It is renowned for its collections of various items linked with hunting. Europe’s hunting
trophies are one of a kind, feather’s room and the porcelain quarter built essentially in
Baroque style, this building is among the finest pieces of Baroque architecture. A mixture
of classic architectural style with the humble basics of a hunting lodge, Moritzburg Castle
is truly unique and intriguing.
