I will show you what will happen if we import a video. So that is file import media and I am going to select a Taylor one and Taylor two. As you can see our two videos have appeared in our project media box. And these videos of me and my son, it is actually a year old now, so it is quite old videos, and so if I just move the first one into the timeline, you see that we get two boxes up hear. The top one is the video and the second one is the audio.
So if we get our scrubber and we move it for you, you will see that as a scrub for video the box down here changes, so these here is the exact frame that the scrubber is on and also you have got just put your sound down here as well. So if you adjust the sound you get to hear all of that. Now basically, if you want to add a lock open and text effects, you can do that by ever using the media generators and going at the text or an easy way to do it, if you got insert, text media, and you got box up here and basically this is for your text.
As you can see we got down here a sample text, it displays exactly what you are writing. So if I delete all this and type in Taylor and Daddy, now the right one we can bit pick here is so if we if we got to hear we can change the size of it, so it looks quite small. Here we go, few more options to placement. So if you just look at this we can change where about on the screen where we want to write in so maybe that center. Properties, it changes the color of the backgrounds. You can make it transparent, you can make it black; you have got your text color. You can make it go invisible and got to bring it back again. I can obviously change color of the text, scroll it round of that but if we just keep it white and if we got here we have got our effects.
Now the effect basically gives the glow, so you put that in there and both finish that requires nice little glow around the writing. So, as you can see, nice big glow, you can change of the glow to blue, okay, that is looking good, so you have got a nice little blue glow around it, okay, if you just start the writing, you can do that how you want. So if you put that better there, like shadow, and obviously it is on a black background so you can not really see the shadow, but you can change all this and have the shadow a lot bigger, a lot smaller or a thicker and all the rest of it, okay.
Now we have got our media generator, look at that. Now you can see the video has appeared here because the scrubber was right in this point here, this is where the start of the actual worm, takes the piece. So if you move this down to begin in here, I can line this up so it stops right on it or what you can do is keep moving it so it overlaps the video, that is what it takes video. And what you will see here happen is if you just press play, so write in here and it blends and move the video, see. So that is quite clever, is it not?
There are more things you can do, this up here you see, that you have this little worm triangle things right in the corner of the video and if you click cursor over it, it changes and if you press it and slide it over, you have got the fade in and you got one this side as well, so writing fade in and so if play on that see the writing fades in. The writing fades out again. Now you can do these with all these videos so that it can fade in as well, so look here, nice little fade in.
With our audio, we can do the same thing, obviously we have already cannot disappear the way it can do. It fades the sound out, so if you do that let us just do that up to here. You will notice that the sound will slowly gradually get louder and louder and louder. It is at the peak, see, you can change this quite easily or if you just want to lower the volume on it, go right the top and your cursor change into a hand and the little worm—arrow, going up and down next to it. Click it and pull it down, you can adjust the volume size as well. So it is all about messing about that you can do with this. It is quite fun to use.
