Its designer describes it as “Compact, stylish and aerodynamic while on the road, when it is parked, the Ecco expands to provide a level space and comfort than its fore bearers could only dream of.”
It is an all-electric vehicle, with no emissions of its own. While the ECCO can be recharged at any 240V station, it can also be charged via solar energy with the assistance of its built-in photovoltaic panels and solar roof.
Weighing over 3500 pounds, the exterior is constructed of glass and aluminum and the interior allows for 5 occupants.
The egg-shaped vehicle sits low to the ground while in drive mode. However when the vehicle is parked, the cap opens to reveal the living mode, which features a toilet and folding beds.
