Welcome to the introduction to Google Latitude series.

Google Latitude allows you to see where your friends are on a Google map and helps you to quickly connect with each other. In order to use Google Attitude on your computer, you need to add it to your iGoogle page. iGoogle is a personal start page from Google and you can easily create an account. Just fill up this quick registration form, I’ve already done that, and now it’s been added to my iGoogle page. You can move it anyway you like on your iGoogle page by clicking on it and dragging it into a different location.

If you haven’t already added it to your Google profile, you can go to your account settings, click on create profile, and then you can add a photo here. Just select one from your computer, resize it in this box, and apply the changes. You can add as much personal information to your profile as you like. A photo helps your friends see you better on Latitude so it’s a good idea to add one.
