Hey guys! This time I’m going to share with you how you can turn yourself into a vampire. Okay not literally, but your picture or image anyway. So, this is inline with the popular movie Twilight. Well, movies/booktwilight and it’s really good film, really good story, very catchy story about vampires and romance and all of those stuff.
Anyway, we’re going to use the program called GIMP which is a freeware program very much like Photoshop. And I had featured GIMP in a lot videos of mine now So, you might as well check those out, you might find something interesting. So, this tutorial is all about changing an image of yourself or others into a vampire. So, let’s get started.
Okay to be able to do this, we have to select a picture which is in close up view like what I have here. So, in my case I’m using Ellen DeGeneres face. So, make sure that the eyes and the teeth are showing for us to alter the eye color or the iris and to change the form of our teeth into fangs.
So, I’ll start with the eyes, I’m going to change them into –well basically, I’m just going to change the iris into red instead of her usual color. So to do that, we’re going to zoom in, let’s say about 200%. So, get or lips select tool and align it with her eye. And then, we go to colors, then color balance and then we go to red. So you can alter it, whatever shade you want, shadows, bloody red there, you can also use hue saturation or if you go to colors then hue saturation, you can also alter your eye color here. So basically, that’s how we can change our eye color. So, do this in both eyes and you have your bloody red vampire eye.
Okay, I’m done with the eyes, but you can still improve this, anyway I’m just showing you the basics. And now we’re going to alter the fangs or the teeth. So, we need to zoom in to 100% and move on to the teeth. And we’re going to alter this one and this one which is second from your front teeth and to be able to do that. We need the paths tool and we’re just going to align it with our canine or teeth for that. So it really depends on you guys on how you would want your fangs to look like. So, I’ll just go with this one. And then go to select, and then go to from path like so, and then, go to your Color Picker. Pick the color of your teeth, then we go to brush and simply color it, like so. And then we go filters we’re going to do a gush and blur. Let’s go with this one, hit okay and then, when we zoom out, go to select, hit done, there’s our fang.
So, we’re going to do the other one, the same process. Go to select, from path and then brush color, go to filters, repeat gush and blur and zoom out and then go to select, hit done and there are your fangs. So, we just turn Ellen into a vampire. So, there you go, it’s just a simple way of turning yourself or other people, their images anyway into a vampire.
So, there you go. Here’s another basic simple and quick tutorial you can do with GIMP. And also, I advise you to check out the other GIMP stuff on my channel and also my other videos as well. Come and create, subscribe if you like and also check on the YouTube partners, they’re on my channel.
