Tribal Modern Living Space
ColorSplash with David Bromstad
David: I’m on my way to meet Genie and Audi Wilson a family of 5 and my producers they’re an amazing family and they literally waited years for ColorSplash to come into their space. Honestly I can’t wait to meet them.
Genie: Oh my God! Oh my God hi!
Audi: How you doing?
David: Good how you doing?
Genie: Fine. Okay.
David: It’s a great sized room. It’s long it’s narrow. It’s a two room, the dining room and the living room?
Genie: We would like to look at it as two rooms.
Genie: Take the colors but you see here and warm stuff.
David: A lot of the warm colors, warm tones, you like energy, I can tell.
Genie: I love energy. I’m a cheerleader I can’t help it.
David: It’s okay. I can’t either. Alright so what kind of style.
Genie: I don’t know if it’s more African funk with a little bit of now.
David: So hip African sheek, love that.
David: Love that so the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen all flow into each other so we’re going to address obviously the kitchen. Did you paint your cabinets?
Genie: But obviously you can see that I was learning.
David: We’re going to put a glaze on the cabinets just enrich them up a little bit, I’m excited to do this for you guys.
Audi: David all I wanted to tell you to do is have lots and lots of fun with all that room.
David: This David Bromstead.
David: You have waited 3 years for this call, do you want to come see your room.
Genie: I’ll call you baby.
David: We’re going to stop right here and come over here Audi. Open up and look at your room.
Genie: Oh my God! Oh my God!
This is absolutely— I can’t even talk, wow. It was worth every single solitary second away.
David: You guys had a really great start to your kitchen and you had the reds and oranges what we did with the kitchen is we changed it all to red and we spruced up your cabinets for you.
Gennie: I love the cabinets.
David: We have a lot of color here but it’s very sophisticated and it’s easy because it’s all…
Genie: Warm up color it’s very yeah.
David: It is in this whole wall and sheers, it’s very elegant, it’s very sheek.
Genie: Look at all the wow.
David: It balances out all the colors.
Genie: Yeah exactly. I love it.
Audi: Just the way she likes.
David: We gave you a huge table, I can see at least 8.
Audi: You can actually see that the table and actually have a nice dinner.
David: Tons of storage.
Genie: I’m so excited.
David: Great cabinets. We kept them all light or this side at least light, everything else is very dark. You know as far as the woodwork and the paint we kept it very light over here because were’ going to bring up the energy.
David: Really keep the light moving through.
David: I did 3 pieces of art for you guys, very graphic very cool.
Genie: Oh my God David, you’re my favorite thing.
David: You’re favorite thing.
Audi: David I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and thank you for making my wife happy.
