In Colorado, the three siblings who went on a multi-state crime spree were sentenced Monday. Two of the trio’s sentences were handed down early in the day, with Dylan Dougherty recieving 32 years in prison. KUSA has his sister’s sentence .

A river ferry carrying as many as 300 people sank in northeast India. The ferry was reportedly overloaded. WTAE reports bad weather struck the ferry as it crossed a fast-flowing river.

 

“They say the boat overturned and split in two in heavy winds and rain while crossing a river there. Police put the death toll at 35 with 165 others missing.”
