Rebecca: Hi, I am Rebecca Braden and welcome to watchmojo.com. Whether you are having an English tea part, lounging around outside, or if you love the safari feel today we will be looking at the connection between high fashion and home décor. Colors, patterns what do we say this season?
Natalie: Essentially we always guide you to look at the runway magazine and the fashion magazines because the runways and the collections really do inspire your home. So we saw a lot of floral this season, we saw a lot of bold bright color on black and white and we also saw a lot of tribal prints. You know safari inspirations. So always look to the runways.
Rebecca: For those must on a budget, what kind of double duty pieces can we see?
Natalie: Actually a lot of furniture nowadays as multi functional so we are seeing a lot of storage for instance it doubles up as a bench. And we are seeing furniture actually get a lot smaller but accessories get a lot larger. So one other things that really inspires us is furniture that can actually have those multi uses. So that you can actually stretch your dollar a lot further.
Rebecca: What is One Piece that someone needs to have this season?
Natalie: The must have piece, there is a lot of must have at home sense but I would probably say a beautiful Chinese ceramic garden stool, we probably got the best price in the market for that they run 19.99 and it is such a great price it is multi functional. It can be used as a table or as additional sitting whenever you need it.
Rebecca: And tell me what is new in patio furniture and outdoor furniture because I mean this looks very different to the wicker or my grandparents have?
Natalie: We are mixing the materials as I mentioned earlier so we are doing a lot of resin mixed in with Sunbrella fabrics. Mixed in with teak so you are not forced to buy a full set of just one look you can mix and match up all those different pieces.
