Audra Lowe: She’s the sexy singer, model and television personality that definitely knows how to love life on the edge posing for Maxims, stripteases on Pants off, Dance off at her own reality MTV show, a shot of love with Tila Tequila. She definitely knows how to get the men and the ladies going so she’s in our studio today to tell us about her life in the fast lane and why she has more friends than most people ever, ever, ever will. Good to have you here Tila.

Tila Tequila: Thank you so much.

Audra Lowe: Let’s go to that first, the friends part of it, it’s a play off moment how you really became famous to MySpace page, 4 million friends that you ended up having on there. What was on that page that made you so popular, so famous?

Tila Tequila: The same thing that I always—you know I always tend to get into trouble twitening or—she wants detention but it’s like you know what I did on MySpace page. I was just always vivacious, feisty; I will say whatever I want.

Audra Lowe: Not to mention you had some little cute pictures out there, I’m married to him yeah. But were you surprise when you say 4 million fans on there? Seriously that’s a lot.

Tila Tequila: Yup. I mean, that’s just—people are like, wondering like oh did you add everyone or did you have a machine, I’m like no, it was all real. Look at me hello?

Audra Lowe: 4 million friends, but before we get to the other questions though, can I please get into what’s important part of this interview, your shoes, can we just get a shot of these shoes? Those are really, really cute shoes, I love them and they’re high because you’re walking in them pretty well

Tila Tequila: I actually like pushed a New Yorker, just now, get out of my way; I’m late for an interview.

Audra Lowe: All right, we want to talk about your music too because I know that you have a new single out, it’s called I Love My DJ, is that right?

Tila Tequila: I Love My DJ.

Audra Lowe: Tell me about that.

Tila Tequila: I fell like there are so many songs out there about so many things, love and breakups and whatever but there’s no homage to the DJ’s because all the DJ’s are the once spinning our musics, you know they’re playing the songs for us and spinning on the radio and they go to night clubs and nobody like pays attention to them. Do you know what I mean it’s always the artists or whomever? So i decided to make a song dedicated to all the DJ’s to show them love because that’s what they get the club popping right.

Audra Lowe: Right. And the title of the whole album is Welcome to the dark side, right? Is that the title of it?

Tila Tequila: Right, well Welcome to the dark side is actually another EP that’s more I would say, Nina Simone style, Billy Holiday style. So I just wanted to show the fans that I have a wide variety of range.

Audra Lowe: Yup, while speaking of a wide variety, Tila I mean a lot of people know you from the reality shows too, now you got the singing career going on. Did you ever set out to do this or all of this is just happening for you step by step?

Tila Tequila: Well would it be nice if we wake up everyday and things just pop up and happen for you. And then, I actually yeah, I work really hard for it. A lot of people don’t understand like why is she famous, well you know it take a lot of hard work. You just don’t sit there and you now, go to studio. I’m doing multiple projects at the same time. Last year, every year, I make a list of five things I’m going to accomplish in the next year. So in 2009, For 2010, one of the things is I’m going to be a mogul, so I started my record label, I started to blog the music and I’m signing artists, I have a management firm so I’m a little many mocked now.

Audra Lowe: She is, she is do it your thing well congratulations, thanks for stopping by here to let us know about the single as well.
