Anybody who owns a pet has seen the beating that the furniture goes through. When it comes to couches, we all know a sweet kitty can destroy them easily. A Korean designer has introduced the ‘cat tunnel sofa’ with both the pet and owner in mind. The couch features two large foam-like cushions for people and pets to sit on, while the back side and arm rest are actually a tunnel for a rambunctious cat to play in. The large tube starts out at the bottom corner of sofa, then loops upwards and over to the back side and shifts direction to rest at the opposite end of the couch. The designer website claims “After analyzing and observing cats’ habits and behaviors through experts’ opinion and sufficient research, we designed the structure and shape of the sofa to be fully in harmony with.”
