Veronica: This workout will get you in shape while boosting your confidence, so you want to show off your new moves. Hi I am Veronica with watchmojo.com and today we are learning all about the sexy dance workout.
Viridiana Bustos: Sexy dance is a dance class that comprehends warm up, our diagno and our choreography. I usually teach moves very sensual or how to work musicality, sometimes you like to dance, but you really don't understand the music with that what you will do, it's a very good workout developed by the coordination and you get to sweat, I do stuff on the floor, it's fun.
Veronica: How did sexy dance began?
Viridiana Bustos: Actually this came from LA the name of sexy dance and then me with other people we develop this dance and then I created a DVD that is called Sexy Dance, that it sells everywhere for the past four years. I believe when you are a dancer you can develop if you have this sexy side of you just to teach girls how to be comfortable with yourself.
Veronica: What is your self conscious about doing these moves in this class?
Viridiana Bustos: This is a challenge for all the girls to come because this sexy dance can scare a lot of girls, but when you come and try it you realize everybody do it, because it is not that hard it's just to let yourself go, get used to look in yourself in the mirror and just be able to try, try the moves. When you see that everybody can do it, then it starts getting better and you feel better about yourself, so that helps.
Veronica: Are these moves you can then take into your personal life as well?
Viridiana Bustos: Oh, you could, I don't know you can ask your boyfriend, you can dance with your girlfriends. I get a lot of bachelor parties, they come with all the girls and they take class together and that's always fun, you know, because you don't get to do these things like everyday you're like I said the girls are shy, but when they get together, oof they have fun and they enjoy it.
Veronica: So is it normal if you look awkward your first time?
Viridiana Bustos: Oh! Yeah it is very normal actually if you don't look awkward that will be a surprise.
Veronica: Okay, let's go try it then.
Viridiana Bustos: Excellent, now I am going to explain one of the first steps for the sexy dance class, it called the snake. So for this snake you are going to open your legs then drop you head to the side, then your upper body, and after the first thing that goes up is the head and then the upper body and you close the leg. To the left the same thing you open, to drop your head, your upper body, head first, and close. A little bit faster would look like this, one, two, three and four. One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four and one, two, three, four and it's always nice when you flick your head to the side. The second step is called the called the wave. For the wave you have to go sideways, you do a little bit here, you have to push your stomach your ribs and then go down and come back. One more time you go one, two, three, four, one two, three, four, and now this side, the same thing you go, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. These are one of my favorite props I use for the Sexy Dance because it is fun to dance surround with the chair, so I am going to start with two very simple aids that goes like this. One, two, you walk, three, four, five, six, you pose at seven, eight and you turn around one, two you sit, three, four you close your legs, five, six, seven, eight.
