Male: Friends, Romans, countrymen, let me your ears. I am Joe Bennett and this is the Rookie Cook and today, I teach you how to make a Cesar salad the way Julius would have wanted it. I could give you the complicated time consuming way to make Cesar salad dressing but why, you are the rookie cook and Paul Newman has done it for you. Paul, thank you so much. Plus the great thing about Newman’s own dressing, it is good and the proceeds go to charity.
So not only are you getting Cesar salad dressing but you are going to need the main ingredient which is Romaine lettuce, that is looking delicious. We are going to take our Cesar salad dressing and we are going to want to mix that up properly because a lot of times, the contents of it will sink down to the bottom so once you have mixed that in, take the top off, pour some dressing in there and now we are going to mix that all together making sure you are getting every leaf covered. Yes, it is looking good now.
So what we are going to do, we are going to take some of the salad and we are going to move our plate close to it and we are going to set some of that salad on our plate. That is looking delicious. Bring that over here, we are going to add some shredded cheese to the mix. There we go and some croutons. Throw them on there and some black pepper. Want some black pepper.
There are some people that like anchovies with their Cesar salad but that is gross, you like anchovies? I am Joe Bennett, thank you for watching the Rookie Cook and if you have any Rookie Cook questions that you would like to see us make an episode out of, go to the comment section and write it down and let us know and we will take care of that for you.
