Yes, I believe the best way to understand sleep apnea as I explain to my patients is thinking of it is—kind of a thing on moving sidewalk but what you might see at the airport. You’re not getting enough oxygen and the effort to breathe is too great. That’s the point from that point on, we’re moving sidewalk if you want to treat you. That’s when treatment is recommended. It’s not just for snoring. It’s when you’re having trouble with you breathing.
