Audra: Fashion week in New York is always fill with celebrities and style. And when it comes to style, there’s no one better than Diane Von Furstenberg. Lauren was back stage with the fabulous designer to talk about her newest 2010 look for spring.

Lauren: It’s fashion week in New York and we’re here Brian Park. We’re going to meet Diane Von Furstenberg, so come on guys let’s go.

What are we doing for here today? I see it’s a big jaw.

Orlando: We’re kind of very romantic hair, so we’re doing corn rose all the way down, sending the girls off to makeup. And then half an hour before the show, we’ll take all the corn rose out and it will be kind of that wavy texture. I’ve been asked for a lot of texture so far. So it could end up being a trend for spring.

Lauren: Hey girl.

Chanel: Hey, I’m Chanel Iman right now. I love doing Diane Von season because Diane is great. It gives a woman confidence.

Lauren: I saw you in the September issue, the Movie. Your pictures were in there. Have you seen in it?

Chanel: Did you?

Lauren: Yes, I did you’re there. You’re like everywhere, Chanel Iman come on.

I’m always, already. How are you?

Diane: How are you?

Lauren: I’m good. Well, you’re stunning as usual.

Diane: No, no you look stunning.

Lauren: Mutual admiration.

Diane: Today is spring 2010. It’s spring 2010 and it’s called Oasis and really it is looking—but it’s looking into antiquity for a tune of beauty, just like the 19 century paintings did when they went to east and the pre-fall, a lot of classes, a lots of draping, beautiful draping, beautiful macramé. But then also a fun sports where an easy kind of jacket.

People always asked me, “What period would you like to have live in?” And antiquity is always my favorite.

Lauren: I love the fact that you’ve been doing this for so long and you still have the passion to do it. I’m saying that because you’ve been working—I’ve been trying to get this interview for how long now and you’ve been traveling, opening stores. It’s getting bigger and bigger, how do you feel about that?

Diane: No, I’m excited. I love what I do. I love my life. I also travel very much. But the traveling is so much apart of what I do. I mean the picture of the invitation is a photo that I took. The background is the photo that I took. Everywhere I go, I get inspired.

Lauren: So you were worked related now like it’s not for fun so much but you’re traveling it to work.

Diane: No, no. My life and work is always very intwined and I love my work, so it doesn’t feel like work.

Lauren: Checkout that invitation, that’s the back trop over there. That’s invitation that Diane actually shot. James, James, oh my God, what’s going on?

James: Better, what’s better?

Lauren: Better is a TV show. It’s better. So what’s the look?

James: We’re doing like this beautiful goddess, modern goddesses, looking back to antiquity but doing a modern sexy look. Well, I’m pulling the cooper like down here and then putting the blush right there, so it’s all focused in this like angular part of the face and then just a peach glossy lips. So it’s kind of parking back to like Studio 54 a little bit because it’s glitter and we love that and it’s Diane Von Furstenberg who is so amazing and she’s a big inspiration and to me she’s like a living goddess. You know, she’s very specific about what she likes.
