So to make that more comfortable we actually numb up the area before doing the laser tattoo removal. So there’s no pain whatsoever if you have it numbed first.

Many offices, I hear, will use ice for anesthesia. That works fairly well but not as well as actual numbing the spot.

This numbing is a little uncomfortable but not as painful as having the tattoo removed without numbing.

So I would say there’s no pain involved if you are numbed. Without it, it’s very uncomfortable.
