Male: Danny use to say that knowledge is power and one of his hobbies was woodworking. And what he love about it is no different than photography. There were of bunch of different sub blades and routers and tools that help you create a product and whether he was working with wood or working with light and photography the creative process was very similar.
And by the understanding these techniques and these theories you can look at the block of wood or you can look at that subject matter and you can make the picture they that you want.
Male: I feel so incredibly privileged to have met and worked with the Tim Collins for so many years. It was just a great experience and the knowledge I gain from him really shape my own career. It change pretty much everything about my work and today because things are moving even faster and cameras are getting easier that it’s kind of in a sense coming down the industry and people are thinking will everything look so great in the camera.
I really don’t need to know lighting and I feel the exact opposite right now because there are so many people entering the market with this new digital cameras. But if you do learn lighting and you do take the time to understand this basic concepts about light control it can separate you from the crowd and distance you from the crowd in the long run and really sets you on a course through your break career.
