The Acacia Resort and Diving Center
Male: While we’re’ talking with Oliver Ang the owner of the Acacia Resort and Dive Center located here in — I understand you built a specifically for divers is that right?
Oliver: Yes we did actually I’ve been diving here for maybe over 10 years already. So when the opportunity came out for me to put up a resort well, we just went ahead with it
So hopefully, we’re trying to attract the divers from all over the world here, providing a class A facility for just everyone who loves diving.
Male: Oliver what a beautiful resort this is for divers you’ve done an awesome job putting it together. The diving is spectacular here as well. Tell us about some of the accommodations you offer divers.
Oliver: Right now we have 10 rooms, six of them are deluxe rooms and four of them are standard rooms, hopefully in a year or two we’ll be upgrading to 20 rooms. We have a full service restaurant here, we have our own bar, we have spa, and of course the diving facility and then we have our pool. Actually you can see the pool at the back, we have our diving facility of course and we have actually a special area for photographers and videographers because you know photographers and videographers just are very sensitive about their equipment.
So, with the set up that we have hopefully, it will end up with a really nice resort for everyone.
Male: You’re a diver too I understand.
Oliver: Yes I’m actually taking my dive master course with Padia at the moment but since I opened the resort that’s what taken the backseat for a while but I’m hopefully going to finish it this year.
Male: Well it’s good that you’re a diver so you understand the needs of divers.
Oliver: Yes actually. We built this resort with all my diver friends so we really put emphasis on what the diver needs when going to a resort like this.
Male: Oliver thank you so much for hosting us here, we appreciate it.
Oliver: I’m really happy to have you guys here.
Male: And invite the people to come.
Oliver: Yeah you guys and everyone out there come to the Philippines, Anilao. We’ve got really good diving here. The resorts we’ve got the new resorts all coming up for you guys. So hopefully we’ll see everyone here.
