The 7 Point 7 Craps Bet

Nicci Pucci: Frank, you brought me over the craps table, tell me what is so special about this?

Frank Mugnolo: About this craps table

Nicci Pucci: Yup.

Frank Mugnolo: Besides this is where all the action is at.

Nicci Pucci: Yeah besides that it’s very obvious.

Frank Mugnolo: This is where all the action is at in the casino. Okay, basically, we came up with a game called 7.7, okay. It’s the regular crap rules, nothing has change. We just add an additional button, a nice bet for the players. Now I’ll go over the bet with you now and all. I think you’ll see what I mean.

Nicci Pucci: Alright.

Frank Mugnolo: Okay, it’s a come out robot which means before the dice are thrown, stickman would say, pass your bets, 7.7 CNE and the architect and call it the game. Okay so you top at the table. You bet $10.00 on the 7.7 lane. Okay. Dice come out seven comes out in the come up.

So seven comes, it’s rolled on a come out row. The players play two to one, not even money, two to one. So your players are going to love that. The other scenario is a two, three, 11 or 12 come out on the come up row. The players would loose.

Nicci Pucci: Okay.

Frank Mugnolo: Okay. So if it’s not a seven, if it’s not a two three 11, or 12, the only – only other thing left is a point. So it’s going to either be a four, five, six, eight, nine, 10, it’s the only thing it could be.

Nicci Pucci: Right.

Frank Mugnolo: So now if a point is established, let’s say in this case it’s a six and it could be any point. If the point is immediately followed by seven, pay attention, the players are paid three to one.

Nicci Pucci: That works.

Frank Mugnolo: That works, right. So that’s the game. The seven is thrown on the come out row. You get paid two to one. If it’s a point, any point, immediately followed by seven, you get paid three to one.

Nicci Pucci: Okay.

Frank Mugnolo: A very simple game, it’s been starting here in Las Vegas two months ago. It’s been catching on the gaming show.

Nicci Pucci: So same rules as craps, just the extra 7.7 line. Okay Frank so how does a smart crap player really smart crap player approach this?

Frank Mugnolo: A really smart crap player like yourself?

Nicci Pucci: Yeah.

Frank Mugnolo: Absolutely, okay. I’ll give you a couple of examples why somebody might use it. Like I said, this is a true gamble. Why people bet some people bet the hard ways, some people bet the hot pots, there’s no right or wrong way. You’ve got a feeling, you’d bet it. But I’ll give you an example of how they can use this subtype of a hedge bet, okay.

Nicci Pucci: Okay.

Frank Mugnolo: You come up to the line, come out before the come up row, put $10.00 on the pass line, 10 in the 7.7 line. The dice come out. Let’s say a six is thrown.

Nicci Pucci: Okay.

Frank Mugnolo: Okay, point six, it could be any point we say six is thrown. So usually people back up their pass line bet. Almost everywhere we get to see dice as point. You back up your pass on that. Okay now you’re ready. You’re ready to go. You’re a half top hopeful for six comes out; you have to have a six to come out to win. Well it comes out to seven. Well you loose this bet, $30.00, and on the pass line, 29 or just what happened. You’ve got 10 on the 7.7 line. You went three to one, $30.00.

Nicci Pucci: It works for me.

Frank Mugnolo: Just hedge your bet.

Nicci Pucci: Yes.

Frank Mugnolo: Okay. Another example, so you come out about the 7.7. Dice are thrown, six came out. So you can go 25 across and now you wait again. You need a six or on either point, you win some money. But what comes up, that’s seven. And your dice players are going to stand, that’s what comes out at the wrong time it comes out up to seven.

Nicci Pucci: It’s lucky when you wanted to be but lucky when you don’t want it to be.

Frank Mugnolo: Right exactly. So what happens in this situation, you loose the 26 across but again, $10.00 or three to one, you win $30.00.
