Hello again, my name is Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today, I’ll be looking at FlashDio 64MB USB drive.

What is included with this product is an installation CD. In most cases you will not need to use this CD since really no driver installation is required. Certainly when you’re using Windows XP, you just pop this thing in and no drivers are required. It comes also with a neck strap. It also comes with an extension cable for the USB. This is a great idea to include this so you don’t have to plug a product directly into the back of your computer. You got an extension cable here so this is very convenient. Also, comes with the manual and of course the product itself.

This particular one is a 64MB model. They go from 8MB all the way up to 512MB. You can see here it’s very compact and looks very attractive-looking and as well they have included a clip which is good certainly if you want to be plugging this onto your belt or anywhere on your person. As well, what you would do is just easily slip this off and once that’s off of course you’ll plug this directly into your computer system or connect it right into here and plugging this extension cable into your computer system. Connecting this to a computer system or a laptop is extremely simple. And it does install very, very easily.

I’ll just demonstrate that right now. Just take the product and like I said, you can use he extension cable that they have included or plug it directly into your computer system. And once the product is plugged in and working correctly, you will notice that there is a little light at the top right hand corner here which actually shows you that the product is operating correctly. And you will notice once this product is installed and you saw it was extremely simple to do that. Simply plug it in and away you go. You can see it does come up as a removable disc. In my case, it’s Drive E. Of course it’s very simple to transfer data to this drive. Basically drag and drop or just cut or copy and paste right into this drive. And of course once you do click on the drive right here, you will notice that on the right hand side, there is an information on the drive right now which I did copy. If I do a right click and go down to the properties here as well you can see how much drive space that you would have left. In this case, I have around 63MB remaining on this product.

These products are extremely convenient. They’re becoming more and more affordable and of course as well you have compactness. You can almost put this anywhere. If you think about a floppy disc, very slow and they can only hold 1.44MB—go for the minimum model which is an 8MB in this case or if you go all the way up to 512MB and extremely versatile product transport data, backup data, certainly a very easy to install. No drivers are required in most situations. Overall, I give this product an 8 ½ out 10.
