On this tailgate 101, we’re talking about big flavor and super simple. We’re doing the lime Tequila tailgate wrap in a dry gigantic foil pouch. Easy to cook, easy to make, easy to prepare at a time you can take fantastic flavor.
Then the back it up with something which you’ll never see to tailgate, two different types of cabbage Spanish spinach and fantastic vinaigrette. It’s tailgate time.
How about using some love doors, how about taking some pre roasted chicken like this and make it ourselves the lime chicken Tequila Tailgate. You are going to dig this. Shred all the meat of the chicken and without the fat, without the bones. So all the chicken’s done using some foil, now I like to use the super heavy duty foil and I’m going to fold it in half just like so and we have another sheet of it and there we go. Now set this one aside here for your down a little bit of olive oil and fold some sides up on this just for a second and you know where you fall about. Some red onions and I’ll put the red onions on the bottom and you also going to have the immediate contact with the heat from the grill and the onions can use a little extra time in cooking.
Now red bell pepper, some jalapeños, a little bit of fresh garlic on we go with the chicken. Lay all that chicken down and going to keep it centralized, now let’s get in there with a little bit of Tequila. Now some fresh lime juice, full cream cheese, some parmesan cheese a little mozzarella, some crack black pepper and a little salt and what ties this whole thing together a little cilantro. We’re hottest this magic happen we’ll one we have really heavy duty foil, two we double it up and three we’re going to come and cut it off like this. Fold these ends together, multiple folds so they get air tight.
Now what’s so cool about this is that you could do this ahead of time at home have this whole thing package and ready to go. You could come carry this is in like you carry the football, go long. I got my poles on the side with indirect tee, drop this bad boy down turn it about every five minutes and 50 minutes is going to be nice and hot.
So while the lime chicken tequila tailgate is on the barbecue, let’s start about like they’re really nice fresh salad. Again how do we do it quick, how do we do it easy before we go to the tailgate event. Well this is a delicious almost kind of like a vinegar slaw that we’re going to make. Let’s start off with this dressing. Red wine vinegar, a little bit of olive oil, some fresh garlic, touch, a little fresh ginger, a little pepper and then here’s the kicker. One of the things that’s going into this dish is going to do some Roman Noodles. Take the oriental seasoning pack that’s out of the Roman Noodles pop those in there and that’s going to be the dressing for this mixture. I’m going to salt them there, when the dressing is made pour the dressing in the bag, excited to go to the tailgate.
Now, let’s make vegetable mixture that’s going to go with this. So first, we get an apricot cabbage or green cabbage bell like its nice and tender than apricot cabbage, a really red cabbage, this is all cracks, and really thin Julien real type and we’ll mix that a little bit and get some red onions, really thinly sliced and some carrots. Leave that with some air in it. Shake it all up, add a little bit of fresh cilantro, some Spanish spinach that have crunched up the Roman Noodles, two packages of sauce wrap it all tight all said and done. Give it a shake this along with the dressing, along with some pre fried wanton and a little snack and right there, that’s tailgate to go. I’m going to pour the dressing in on top of the style bottle hang up for about 10 minutes. Package here together not leaking, take a look that, mix it up a little bit, there’s a cream cheese and the mozzarella, garnish it with a little Roman tomato, grab a nice toast to grill. They are a nice and easy all done in one package. Brought that way right to the gate, so there’s stack it on top or there is on the tailgate. This is quick and easy but delicious tailgate you will love it.
