Hi! I am Tara Kraft, Star Magazine's Beauty Director and I have got some fantastic summer beauty tips for you. Now smooth skin is in. So one of the most important things is to have a great razor. 86% of women said that they would rather use a razor that lather shaves and moisturizes all in one step and Schick's new Intuition Plus limited edition razor which is $10 at drug stores does all of that and more.
Plus, it's got these cute decorative handles, so sweet. It will match any girl's bathroom and these enhanced moisturizing solid strips that have Shea Butter, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, and a new fourth blade which just allows for the smoothest, closest shave yet.
Another really important thing is to have firm skin. All of us ladies when we go to the beach and wearing our bikinis, we want to feel confident and know that we are looking good, and firm skin is the way to get; is the way to feel that way.
My favorite product is Aveeno's Positively Ageless Firming Body Lotion. It's $899 at drug stores, and it's a moisturizer with natural Shiitake complex, and wheat protein to firm and tone skin.
Now, my secret is to use this all over your décolleté, your upper arms, your waist and your lower legs anywhere that you think you have some sagging skin, wrinkling, fine lines or dryness and the product will target back and it truly works in just under two weeks. It's amazing.
Another thing. I believe it's okay to wear makeup to the beach. Just a little makeup and waterproof mascara is a must especially one that leaves your lashes looking very natural. I happen to be hooked on CoverGirl's Exact Eyelights Mascara. It's $895 at drug stores and it has these metallic spheres that reflect light to enhance your natural eye color, which means that your eyes will appear four times brighter especially in the sun. So your eyes are going to twinkle while you are on the beach and your lashes will be left long, blush, and clump freed.
The next thing is that accessories, right colored accessories are really-really in for the summer, and you don't have to go out and spend a fortune. You can find great deals like a pair of flip flops in a bright yellow, or a great pair of sandals in a hot pink that can really spruce up your summer wardrobe and make you feel fashionable without spending a fortune. There is no need to drop $1000 on a whole new wardrobe or even $100 for that matter.
Another thing is bathing suits. You always want to look great on the beach. The biggest style that is back this summer are one pieces. Great halter styles with low cut tops on the décolleté or spaghetti straps are just totally hot this season and bold bright colors as well are the way to go.
