Audra Lowe: You always want your hair to look good and there are about 101 different kinds of styling lotions out there. But celebrity hair stylist Gregg Giannillo says that you can style with simplicity, and he shows us how in today’s Better Tressed.

Gregg Giannillo: I know finding the right styling product maybe a little bit of a chore. In some cases more of a chore than doing your hair itself. But here’s a little idea, take some plain old salt mix it with some water. Couple of tablespoons to a bottle about this size, mix it up and spray it on your hair.

You wavy hair people know what I mean, it’s a big secret if you to the beach and you have salt water in your hair, it really holds a little bit more differently than it would if you were not on the beach that day. What happens is the water evaporates and the salt stays on hold your hair in place and it works as a great setting lotion. Whether it is wavy or if you want to blow it out, here’s a little trick for you and that’s your tip for the day!
