Government forces strike just outside Damascus killing at least 26 people in a bombing campaign targeting rebel forces.

Activists say at least half of those killed were children. The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes as Russia is calling on the opposition to propose its own ideas for talks with President Bashar al-Assad. More footage shows street fighting in the southern part of the country.
