Chris Pratt certainly looked the part of a Hollywood star as he hit the red carpet in LA for the world premiere of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. He plays the lead in the epic space adventure based on the comic book of the same name, and joined co-stars Bradley Cooper, Glenn Close and Zoe Saldana for the screening that shut down Hollywood Boulevard. SOUNDBITE, Chris Pratt, actor, saying: "I used to live 400 yards from here and they used to shut down Hollywood Blvd. and I would be like, 'Man, what's going on down there.' Now I know it's a a big ol' premiere. It's a night for us to celebrate all the hard work we did and we are having a lot of fun." The action space adventure expands Marvel's universe into the cosmos, where adventurer Peter Quill, played by Pratt, finds himself the object of a bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb. The film's director James Gunn said he hopes the movie will not be added to the list of recent high profile summer box office flops. SOUNDBITE, James Gunn, director, saying: "Yes, I am worried about the box office and I want the movie to do well. The main reason I want the movie to do well is that I want the opportunity to do another one. I love working with these people and I love working with Marvel." "Guardians of the Galaxy" hits theaters in the U.S. on August 1st
