Hi! I am Elizabeth Chamberlain and welcome to Space Lift where I am going to show you how to change your home to change your life. In the next few minutes, I am going to give you inside Feng Shui secrets so that you can learn how to rearrange your rooms to make even your wildest dreams come true. When summer rolls around, it's probably time to get rid of some of that winter weight. So I have got some Feng Shui ideas for your kitchen to help you get back into bikini shape.
First, let's find our focus room with our energy map and laying the energy map on top of our floor plan, you can see that the Travel and Helpful People area is in the near right corner from the front door facing in. When you reach for the refrigerator door, ask yourself, am I really hungry for food or am I hungry for something else like attention or relief from stress? Now Feng Shui experts say, the junk in the drawers equals junk in the trunk. So I am going to give you some Feng Shui tips. Let's get started.
A helpful idea might be using blue plates. Blue suppresses the appetite. If you notice most fast food companies use yellow and red in their logos, they simulate the appetite, but blue helps to suppress it.
Another tip is to avoid seeing the kitchen from the front door when you first walk into your home. You could close any door in between, put a screen or a plant. But by seeing the kitchen from the front door, it makes you focus on food. Perhaps you might want to put a mirror on the refrigerator so that you can capture image before you open the refrigerator for food. It will make you stop and realize, am I really hungry?
Check for any loose knobs, so that you can help get a handle on things. Keep a bowl of healthy apples on the countertop, so you always have a healthy snack ready. You can keep a shining tea kettle on your stove top, it helps you to be able to see behind you and that way you will always be in the power position in the kitchen. We know that you have to eat, but these are just Feng Shui tips to help you control and suppress your appetite. Thank you.
