Hi! I am Elizabeth Chamberlain, and welcome to Space Lift, where I am going to show you how to change your home to change your life. In the next few minutes, I am going to share inside Feng Shui secrets, so that you can rearrange your rooms to make even your wildest dreams come true.
Does it feel like you live in a constant state of anxiety and stress or maybe your home is a contributing factor? Today, I am going to show you how to de-stress your mess.
First, let's find our focus room with our energy map. By laying the energy map on top of your floor plan, you can see that the fame area is in the far center section from the door facing in. When we look around this room, we can find many sources of stress. Fame has fire for the energy in this area, but a little bit of fire goes a long way, and this is a lot of the red fire energy.
We also have the desk placed where its back is to the door. That's not helpful at all, and there is artwork, staring at this very stressful poster all day long, can add to a lot of stress. Also, clutter is a contributing factor to stress.
So why don't we make a few changes and see how we can improve things. We've made lots of changes to this room. The main thing we've done is repositioned the furniture. You do not have to have all of your furniture pressed up against the wall. It's okay to float your sofa in middle of the room, but it's very important to move your desk away from facing the wall. You want to face out into the room to be in the power position.
We also changed our artwork from something stressful to something very peaceful, and de-cluttering makes a huge difference in de-stressing your mess. Thank you.
