Kenneth: 8 months ago Danielle and Tom hated their cramped outdated master bathroom as a fire fighter Tom wanted it to be a tranquil retreat from the locker room style space at the station. They asked us to get rid of everything and help them create a serene sanctuary. Did they get what they wanted?
Neutral colors and natural materials make the space luxurious and tranquil. To give the room a cozy feel we designed the vanity to look like a furniture piece and personalize the accessories.
Danielle: Kenneth I love this bathroom, you made it so spa like.
Tom: This is the sanctuary that I asked for.
Kenneth: Well it has gone through quite a transformation. Now it feels more open and airy. It gives it that luxurious spa like feel, you know you’re not crammed in anywhere.
Kenneth: You know and it starts with this beautiful vanity that when you walk in this beautiful finish with a great crum details, really says a luxury spa.
Tom: I like stay in on the vanity. It looks great.
Danielle: And the hardware is just absolutely gorgeous.
Kenneth: And we have a lot of storage. We’ve got really nice deep drawers for all of your things and what I really like is the little pull out the towels, towels anyone.
On the floor the tiled area rug is a stunning focal point. Danielle and Tom decided to use the same mosaic tile on the walls which hype the design together.
Kenneth: And then you’ve got you know the lifted spirits with the ceiling moving up higher, we did a little chandelier there and with the seamless glass showering closure it gives the illusion of more space as opposed to that original shower, it’s like showering in the broom closet.
Danielle: We can both actually be in there now.
Tom: That’s great.
The window also gives the illusion of space and the roman shades at that hint of luxury to that spa like atmosphere.
Kenneth: So guys this is a lot of fun. I always like to challenge of creating space that suits what you were looking for and so thanks for letting me be a part of this.
Tom: I just want to thank you too I mean I was just amazed at how this came out I didn’t think you can do it and this space I gave you but now you but now you made it into a room that was really enjoying.
Kenneth: With a lot of careful planning and imaginative design work Tom Danielle can now relax in their very own private sanctuary.
