I'm David Katzmaier cnet.com. I'm sitting next -- Sony's 84 inch XP ER 84 X 900. This is Sony's first four KTV -- one of the first on the market we'll get the biggest thing out of the -- first is a 25000 dollar television. For that's -- 5000 -- Sony includes not only the TV but also the first four K content you'll likely ever -- actually ships with a little server that includes a bunch of videos you can. Call up on on included tablets so all that package is kind of unique in terms of the four KTVs out there the only when it's from LG it's. 84 inches as well but it doesn't include that server package and other -- -- Sony's talking about is the four K conversion from two K content you're gonna be able to pipe all of that content on this TV and blow it up to 84 inches and according -- -- get. Really good video processing. Now we did get a demo this television Sony's set it up next to LG 84 inch TV as well as an idiot sharp it's not work -- We did notice that the video processing on -- -- is pretty darn good it did allow that tended to be content look really detailed and for what it's worth more than the yes sharks 81080. Of course you're sitting relatively close to this large screen if you -- a little bit further back to -- noticed. That much of a difference indeed now Sony also showed us a demo of two K content vs four K content -- two identical Sunni forest TDs. And we really were very hard pressed to see any -- community had to kind of walk -- to the screen to see the difference. The point being -- -- -- -- crossing again is a pretty good job of taking at 1080. Bumping it up to four K. We are also shown a demo -- black -- this TV does have local dimming which means that it's able to. Dim the backlight in different areas of the screen and get a really nice deep dark color black which does increase the contrast and pop in and capacity TVs look extremely good -- looks very good -- -- as well so. That's another aspect of the TV's performance we were impressed by. One -- a demo included screen uniformity Sonny tells that each of these TVs is -- at the factory to remove defects and uniformity CC. A nice uniform pictures which is especially important when you're panning over materially see a light field or -- black field for example. Such a large TV Sony does include a lot of ways to -- round the form -- you can take the speaker's office you'd like to stand here as shown can also be your music and long about this -- is also way to. Post now the television if you want to do that or put it on a stand if you'd like to use that. Sony stand does include a little wire hook on the back here to trying to two wires less visible as we mentioned the top this TV does include four K content that music can. Connect this included server which has a series of videos that are included on -- Sony also. Updates they're actually rolling out when it first updates this server setup. Come to your house and install. A bunch of new movies on there later in the year the company says it will introduce a four K video distribution system still awaiting details on that again that's gonna be -- the first of its kind. That's a quick look at Sony's XB ER 84 X 901. Of the first four KTVs on the market 25000 dollars. I'm David Katzmaier proceed.
