SNTV - Cole refuses to vote

X Factor host Dermot O'Leary has defended Cheryl Cole’s refusal to vote on the reality
show’s results episode. Cheryl wouldn’t choose between her two acts, Treyc Cohen and
Katie Waissal and lots of fans were left angry when Treyc was eliminated despite Katie
struggling in the sing off. But Dermot says Cole didn’t have to vote and there’s not a
right or wrong way to do it. He told BBC Radio 1’s news beat, if they gone back to
Cheryl with a deadlock it would have devalued the order judges’ votes.

Fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue was at the Pride of Britain with Cheryl also
attended when she said she would have done the same thing. I don’t think I could do it. I
think I would have opted out as well, Minogue added. Dannii went on to say she feels
sorry for the 27-year-old after all the criticism she’s received.
