Select ‘type tool’ and input our text all in caps. Let’s change the font size to let’s say 24. Now, select our text and choose ‘character and paragraphs’ palettes; reduce the spacing minus 110. Let’s place it right here. Now, go to the layer style. Select color overlay and pick white. Go to ‘stroke’. Select the ‘red’ and change the stoke value to 4.
Select ‘center’. Select our text layer and use ‘Ctrl-J’ shortcut to duplicate the layer. Now, we have two layers. Go to ‘layer style’, go to ‘color overlay’ and choose red. Now, move this layer below the tutorial layer, select ‘move to’ and position our layer.
We can zoom in using the shortcut Ctrl+. And now, we have the semi-3D text effect. And now, we can experiment with the position of our copy layer.
