Silchenko performed a back armstand with two and a half twists, two and a half somersaults and a blind entry to hold off the challenge of American Steven LoBue and Colombia's Orlando Duque, who finished second and third respectively in Krabi Province. "I'm absolutely happy and this is a great day for me," Silchenko said. "It's the best day in my high diving career and I've worked for this day for five years and I've had a lot of great experiences and a lot of experiences. And now I'm here, now I'm champion 2013 and now I am so happy."
