Zelana: Wave sexy tussled wave’s ala Sienna Miller, she may not be from California but
you would know it looking at her just from the bleach hair. She has mastered this
lose and lovely look with the look of her secret weapon celebrity hair stylist
Daniel Erdman.
So why did you choose this look specifically for Sienna?
Daniel: Well we wanted to kind of have a look at Sienna that really brought out her
playfulness to the fan based because that’s really who she is. The curl element the
soft kind of sixty vibe was really something that kind of brought that out.
Zelana: So what are your must have tools to create the Sienna look?
Daniel: You may have a great curling iron, use the right way mix with the beach spray
and really those are my secret weapons.
Zelana: What are the steps that I need to take to create this look?
Daniel: I’m going to show you how to use the curling iron.
Using a comb, you pick up a section of hair making sure you get close to the root.
Once I’ve got the hair and the curl just to hold it in place and spray. That way the
product is kind of heated into the hair and it doesn’t have to be perfect, because
what we’re really trying to do is create a kind of natural look and then allow it to
drop.
So when creating sixty looks the height of your hair style is back here. So what
you want to do is take the section, put your curling iron in, spray, slide the hair off
and pin it and let it cool down here. What you’re really looking to do is to create
root left of the crown of the hair.
Now it’s time to start finger waving and even using your hair dryer., if you really
want to achieve that Sienna look which is natural and loose, approachable, you
want to really break up what we’ve done with the curling iron and a spray by
using an open hand then moving it through the hair using some heat in the hair
dryer to really make this look yours.
Imperfect hair is cool. so the more you work the hair with your hands in the hair
dryer, the better.
Zelana: So now that I have this perfect bitchy way what are the looks I can do with it?
Daniel: So from here you can pull the hair up, create that loose sixty pony tail. You can
pull it back and then just have some loose curls out. We’re taking this kind of
loose sexy beach hair and just make your modern twist that all of a sudden you’re
good to go and you’re going out for the evening.
