Male: Yesterday, Ahmed snagged these guys at the Home Improvement Store saws their yard and came up with a grand plan for their space. Today everyone’s working hard to turn their nasty yard into a sweet hangout spot.
Looks like things are moving quicker than this group was ready for. The shuffle board court is here and so is the wet concrete for the court. So Aaron’s got to get his forms ready now.
Next, they add some base rock and a little reinforcement.
Aaron: All right Dave, let’s get our steel and put it in the bottom of the concrete. This stuff is going to reinforce it.
Male: Now they can pump in the concrete.
Aaron: How much pressure do you think pushed out?
Ahmed: About 2,000 PSI.
Aaron: That will take the paint right off my house.
Ahmed: Or it will break your ribs and knock your teeth out, too .
Aaron: Oh really?
Male: For the yard crashers, the second day is always the hardest day because they have to make the yard look the real deal before the sun goes down. The concrete landing strip in the middle of the yard needs its sports court.
Dave: So let’s just get it back and kind of lay it out. We’ll figure it out on a clean surface. They were actually going to start down there which is pull them out.
Male2: Every kind of plant I’ve ever seen is back there and then really large hardscape patio with gorgeous break and then right down the middle we’ve go a shuffle board court that should probably be on the deck of a cruise ship somewhere.
